Just got home from Orchard after having dinner with the JC gang. Always get this nostalgic feeling after gathering - I MISS THOSE DAYS!!! Life is so stress now. Been ages since i laugh so much..

My 2nd visit to this cafe, wouldn't say that my first impression of the place has changed much. Comparing it to the other HK cafes in Singapore that i've been to so far, i would say that there're still plently room for improvements for this cafe.
The Food
It can be easily noticed that there're only selected dishes that are popular among customers. For instance, the cheese baked rice and the newly introduced chicken curry. I've tried both dishes, they're indeed good. So would definately recommend you these two dishes if you're planning to dine there.
Since it's my 2nd visit there, i decided to try a new dish. So i selected the black pepper chicken with rice & egg. It's a relatively simple dish so i don't see why i have to pay $8.50 for it. However, a good point that i want to bring up is that they're generous with their serving. The serving of the chicken was rather reasonable and combined with the black pepper sauce, the dish was not bad at all.
I'm disappointed with the mee sua though. The mee sua didn't look like mee sua at all, it looked more like the you mian from the Ban Mian stall.
The Service
I was initially pretty satisfied with thier services - the way the waiter attended to us during the taking of orders and the rate at which they serve our food. But the following changed my perception completely: (i) waiters/waiteresses kept coming to check whether they had served all the dishes in which we had ordered and (ii) waiters/waitresses clearing away the dishes immediately after a person has finish eating. It kind of signalled to me that they're chasing us out once we finish eating and paying up. It is just my own perception, so don't take it at face value.
All in all, would say that it's just an ordinary cafe.
